Ricky Martin wins court case as sexual relation and harassment claims withdrawn by nephew

Ricky Martin has won his court case today after his nephew withdrew claims the singer stalked and harassed him after a seven month relationship.
The 51-year-old, who completely denied the accusations, is said to have appeared virtually at a Puerto Rico court to testify. The judge then dropped the restraining order issued against him a week ago, writes The Mirror.
His legal team released a statement following the result. They said: "Just as we had anticipated, the temporary protection order was not extended by the court.
"The accuser confirmed to the court that his decision to dismiss the matter was his alone, without any outside influence or pressure, and the accuser confirmed he was satisfied with his legal representation in the matter. The request came from the accuser asking to dismiss the case.
"This was never anything more than a troubled individual making false allegations with absolutely nothing to substantiate them. We are glad that our client saw justice done and can now move forward with his life and his career."
Ricky was issued with a restraining order earlier this month following a domestic violence incident in Puerto Rico. The alleged victim's identity was withheld at the time but Ricky's brother, Eric Martin, has since identified the man as their nephew.
The singer was accused of "exercising physical and psychological attacks" on his nephew during a seven month relationship, who claimed they split two months ago.
The singer's lawyer previously told TMZ: "Unfortunately, the person who made this claim is struggling with deep mental health challenges. Ricky Martin has, of course, never been - and would never be - involved in any kind of sexual or romantic relationship with his nephew."
