Reward offered as pizza van stolen on weekend of Italian food festival

A reward is being offered after a popular pizza restaurant's only van was stolen near Manchester city centre. Proove Pizza says its van was taken from Collyhurst Road, at the junction with Dalton Street, at around 10.30pm on Friday (August 26).
The van - a dark grey Mercedes-Benz - is believed to have since been seen on false number plates. It comes on the weekend Proove Pizza has appeared at Festa Italia, the Italian food festival run by Salvi's at Cathedral Gardens.
In a post shared on Facebook yesterday, a Proove Pizza spokesperson said: "Please help!!! Our van has been STOLEN!! It happened last night [August 26] from Collyhurst Road where it meets Dalton Street in Manchester city centre at around 10.30pm. Reward offered to the person that assists us in getting it back."

In an update shared today, the spokesperson added: "Update - our stolen van has been spotted driving aggressively around Manchester last night [August 27] around 8.30pm with different number plates on Audenshaw Road... We only have one van so if you see a van that looks like this one, please let us know."
Proove Pizza has a restaurant on Burton Road, Didsbury, as well as in Sheffield and Hertford. The company is appealing for any information to passed on to it directly.
