Fans of Love Island will be excited to know that the eighth season of the hit show arrives back on screens in June 2022, with a host of new contestants ready to start new romances with each other. Viewers will no doubt get their entertainment’s worth watching new pairings form — but the true testament of success for the show will lie in what happens afterwards, as fans wait to see which couples last past the finale.

Love Island has taken a swipe at its rival dating shows in the new trailer for the upcoming eighth season. The popular ITV2 show will return to our screens on June 6, and will entertain the nation for a whopping ten weeks. Fans were treated to a teaser trailer earlier this month, and now the full thing has been released.

Love In The Flesh star Joe Kellett, who briefly appeared as a single on the first series of the BBC Three reality show.We're not going to lie, Joe didn't get the screen time he deserved, so we're more than happy to believe that he might be part of the original Love Island 2022 line-up.Another face that was teased was Toby, who recently appeared on another ITV show Ready To Mingle.One user commented, "Toby was on a show called ready to mingle- he had a girlfriend on the show if I recall."It's worth mentioning that Love Island rarely features contestants that have starred on other TV show, with 2018 winner Dani Dyer the only Islander to have appeared on another show, Survival Of The Fittest.Toby and Joe aren't the only rumoured 2022 contestants, Pete Wicks' friend, influencer Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Zara McDermott's brother Brad are also in the potential line-up.According to reports, Love Island will start on Monday 6 June and we are so ready for the show's return. Kaz Kamwi and Liberty Poole have reportedly been left terrified after they were said to have been held at knifepoint in Los Angeles. Love Island besties Kaz, 26, and Liberty, 22, were said to be heading on a night out when they ended up in "the wrong part of the neighbourhood" and were threatened by a 40 year old woman. Kaz and Liberty were then reportedly defended by two men, who were said to be passing by, who apprehended the attacker and called the police.

Love Island’s Demi Jones has revealed a sentimental new tattoo whilst on holiday in Ibiza after beating thyroid cancer. The 23 year old revealed the dainty butterfly tattoo which she got on her ankle, on Instagram.
