Rebecca Balding has died at the age of 73 from ovarian cancer.The actress was best known for starring in TV shows Soap, as well as the original Charmed. She starred as Alyssa Milano’s boss in the series, which aired from 1998-2006. Rebecca also featured in 80s cult classic movies Silent Scream and The Boogens.
Her husband, actor-director James L. Conway, confirmed the news of her passing to Deadline, and shared that she died on Monday July 18 in Utah. Rebecca's cousin Caroline Williams also announced her death on social media.
She wrote on Twitter: "My cousin, Rebecca Balding, has passed away in Salt Lake City. While we were not close in adulthood, she was a profound influence on my curiosity about show business and acting. #TheBoogens was where she met her delightful husband @jameslconway.
Mother, wife, actress. Did it all". People have taken to social to share their sadness at the news of her passing.
