‘Raised By Wolves’: Ridley Scott’s HBO Max Sci-Fi Drama Adds Six For Season 2

Warner Bros., much like Disney, is betting big on superhero content for its streaming service. However, even though Marvel Studios and Disney are leaving the films in theaters and letting the TV series dominate the streaming platform, WB and DC Films are going a bit of a different route, with some big-name superhero films coming exclusively to HBO Max.

BritBox, the ITV and BBC joint-venture streamer, has announced that it is developing a second season of its UK drama series The Beast Must Die.

Jeremy Irvine (Treadstone) is negotiations to join Finn Wittrock in HBO Max’s upcoming Green Lantern series based on the DC characters, from Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.

In March earlier this year, HBO announced, as “Insecure” was coming to an end, that producer-writer-director Issa Rae had signed a five-year overall production deal with WarnerMedia. The deal established an exclusive partnership between Rae’s production label, Hoorae, WarnerMedia’s branches HBO, HBO Max, and Warner Bros.
