Congratulations are in order for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry after they announced the birth of their daughter Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.The couple shared the news with the world on Sunday, two days after the baby girl was born weighing 7lb 11oz at a hospital in LA.The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s decision to wait to tell the world their news broke royal tradition for the second time.

Royal fans were delighted to receive the news that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have welcomed their daughter over the weekend. Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was born Friday just before midday, however, the couple kept the news private until Sunday evening.The royal couple announced the name yesterday, paying tribute to her great-grandmother and late grandmother and great-grandfather.

"On June 4th, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili," proud parents Harry and Meghan shared in a statement, as per Archewell's [Harry and Meghan's non-profit organisation) official website, announcing the birth of their second child, daughter Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

"Lili was born on Friday, June 4 at 11:40 a.m. in the trusted care of the doctors and staff at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA.
