A relative of the Queen who admitted sexually assaulting a woman at his ancestral home, has been jailed for 10 months. Simon Bowes-Lyon, the Earl of Strathmore, admitted to attacking a woman at Glamis Castle, Angus, in February last year.
The 34-year-old is the son of a cousin of the Queen. Previously, the court heard that the incident happened in a bedroom at the castle where the Queen Mother grew up.
