The Queen was spotted laughing and cheering as she enjoyed the fantastical musical performances in her Platinum Jubilee Celebration at Windsor Castle. Her Majesty, 96, first arrived by her trusty Land Rover car as she was brought to the centre of the grounds, and she was all smiles as she got ready for an evening outdoors dedicated to her legacy and history. Having amassed 70 years on the throne this year, the Queen was over the moon to be at the centre of a celebration showcasing the best the Royal family, Britain, and the Commonwealth has to offer.
With performances from theatre companies, musical segments from Keala Settle and Katherine Jenkins, the Queen looked truly humbled to be a part of the event. Even Tom Cruise was there to help present the incredible show - having revealed why he agreed to take part, along with actor Damian Lewis and Ground Force legend Alan Titchmarsh. But it was during an incredible performance from excellent group The Secret Drummers that the Queen first broke her composure. Unable to contain her excitement at the fantastic coordination and pristine synchronicity on show, she giggled and held her arms out in a dramatic cheer as she whispered to her aides either side of her. From then on, Her Majesty continued to enjoy the wonderful show and as a variety of different horse performances took to the grounds she could be seen pointing out various details.
