Hours before Queen Elizabeth passed away on Thursday (September 8), the garden house on her Sandringham Estate was listed on Airbnb.
The Queen and her family have spent the Christmas and New Year holidays at the Sandringham estate for years and she usually delivers her annual Christmas speech from the estate. The royal family has owned the house since 1862.
The Airbnb listing notes, “This charming Norfolk hideaway, owned by HM The Queen, nestled within the heart of her much-loved Sandringham Estate country retreat and the closest estate property to Sandringham House itself, is all about an appreciation of the great outdoors and the beautiful gardens it sits within.”
There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms within the house, giving enough space for eight guests. Pets are allowed too!
It does not appear that any dates are available, but the cost per night is reportedly $400.
