Joe Otterson TV ReporterNBC has given a pilot order to the one-hour drama “Dangerous Moms.”The show is based on the Spanish series “Señoras del (h)AMPA.” The series is described as an off-center dark dramedy about four diverse mothers who accidentally kill the queen bee of their school’s PTA during the demonstration of a new high-end food processor.

Mónica Marie Zorrilla Hulu has ordered a one-hour drama pilot titled “Olga Dies Dreaming,” based on the yet-to-be-published novel of the same name. Author Xochitl Gonzalez and Alfonso Gómez-Rejón are attached to executive produce, with Gonzalez writing, and Gómez-Rejón directing.

Grace Gummer (Mr. Robot) has been cast as a series regular opposite Demián Bichir and Anika Noni Rose in Let the Right One In, Showtime’s vampire drama pilot from Away creator Andrew Hinderaker, who serves as showrunner; Seith Man, who will direct; and Tomorrow Studios.

Josh Hartnett is set to take the lead in upcoming mini-series The Fear Index for Comcast's European pay TV giant Sky. The four-part thriller, based on the bestselling novel by Robert Harris (Pompeii, Enigma), is being adapted by Paul Andrew Williams and Caroline Bartleet, and directed by David Caffrey (The Alienist, Peaky Blinders), and will also star Leila Farzad (I Hate Suzie, Innocent), Arsher Ali (The Ritual, Informer) and Grégory Montel (Call My Agent).

Mónica Marie Zorrilla Alexander Hodge will guest star in ABC’s drama pilot “Epic,” hailing from “Once Upon a Time” creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis. The actor joins previously announced lead cast members Eleanor Fanyinka (“Masters of Love,” “Holby City”) and Brittany O’Grady (“Little Voice,” “Star”) in the ABC Signature production.“Epic” is described as a romantic anthology series that reinvents fairytales for a new audience.
