A major milestone! Prince William and Duchess Kate visited the University of Cambridge’s Fitzwilliam Museum on Thursday, June 23, to view their first official joint portrait.The couple took a trip to their namesake region of Cambridgeshire to see the artwork as it was revealed for the first time to the public.
The piece of art was commissioned by the Cambridgeshire Royal Portrait Fund in 2021 and painted by Jamie Coreth.
The painting depicts Kate, 40, in a metallic dress by The Vampire’s Wife, which she wore in March during a visit to Dublin. William, 40, joins his wife in the artwork wearing a suit with a blue tie.“It has been the most extraordinary privilege of my life to be chosen to paint this picture.
