Prince Edward, Countess Sophie & Daughter Louise View Tributes To Prince Philip

As the royal family continues to mourn the demise of Prince Philip, Prince William and Kate Middleton returned to royal duties on Wednesday. Paying a tribute to his grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh, William and Kate visited the 282 East Ham Squadron, Air Training Corps in London, England.

Prince Harry is said to have been “barely acknowledged” by Princess Anne, Prince Edward and his wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex during Prince Philip’s funeral.The Duke of Sussex, 36, was publicly reunited with the Royal Family for the first time after his explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey to lay his grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh, to rest at the weekend.

Prince Philip passed away aged 99 on April 9, 2021. The Duke of Edinburgh was laid to rest at St George's Chapel on April 16 with several members of the royal family in attendance.

While the Duke of Sussex was previously expected to return to the U.S. as soon as Monday, April 19, some sources believe he may “delay” his homecoming until after the Queen’s birthday.

It’s being reported that Prince Philip has left his youngest granddaughter, Lady Louise Windsor, something very near and dear to them both, in his will.

Prince Harry and Prince William will not walk side-by-side as they join the Royal Family for the procession at their grandfather, Prince Philip‘s, funeral on April 17, per AP. The decision was seemingly made to minimize “any awkward moments” between the brothers, whose relationship has been strained since Harry’s tell-all interview with wife Meghan Markle and Oprah Winfrey in early March.

Prince Harry and Prince William are to walk apart in Prince Philip’s funeral procession, it has emerged.The two will be separated by cousin Peter, son of Princess Anne, as they walk behind the Duke of Edinburgh's coffin to the funeral service. Prince Charles will also be walking in the eight-minute procession, along with other Royals.The funeral marks the first time Harry, 36, has come face to face with his brother in a year.

The order of processions was announced Thursday and it was revealed that Prince Harry and Prince William will not walk side by side during any part of the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral.

The Queen is to decide whether Prince Harry will be allowed to use his HRH title at Prince Philip’s funeral on Saturday, 17 April, it is reported. It is thought that Harry may be referred to simply as the ‘Duke of Sussex’ in the funeral order of service, however the final decision is up to the Queen.
