Primark has launched its first ever collection of clothing to help women who are going through the menopause relieve symptoms and feel that bit more comfortable.
The budget fast-fashion chain's innovative new range will include a range of nightwear, underwear and base layers that have been designed to relieve one of the most common symptoms - hot flushes.
Featuring anti-flush technology, cooling yarn, odour control and a temperature control design, the retail giant's collection aims to help women feel more comfortable and fresh during the day or help aid in a restful nights sleep.
The new collection dropped in stores from September 5 and will be accompanied by social media and in-store marketing to provide more information about the topic of menopause.
Prices for the 14-item strong collection ranges between £7-£12 - meaning that Primark's new menopause range is not just innovative, but also budget-friendly.
Primark has said that the collection will feature a range of affordable basic items that can be added to the wardrobe as the foundation layer for any outfit.
Included in the base layers will be items such as shaping leggings, anti-chafe shorts, sleek slips, tees and cami tops. For underwear, there is a choice of high-waisted or mini briefs, as well as supportive but soft non-wired bralettes. Nightwear options range from matching pyjama separates that can be worn together or alone, as well as slip-on nightdresses.
