Primal Scream star Bobby Gillespie has teamed up with trade union boss Mick Lynch to release a fundraising song in support of striking railway workers.
The legendary Glaswegian rocker joined Dexys star Kevin Rowland to record Enough is Enough in support of the RMT's on-going industrial action.
The musicians taped their contributions free-of-charge and all profits from the single will go towards the union's campaign against low-pay and job cuts.
RMT general secretary Mick Lynch, who makes a guest appearance on the track, said: "As we go into further strike action this Saturday this sort of solidarity, which these talented musicians gave completely free of charge, is an indication of the huge support we are getting from across the country.
"All the money from this single will go directly to our dispute fund which we are using as part of our battle for justice in the workplace. It’s time for the government to stop interfering and let us negotiate a settlement with the employers."
Rowland said he was proud to stand with unions like RMT as organisations that were fighting for a fair deal for workers in the face of a cost-of-living crisis:
"It is clear to millions that something is very wrong when millionaires get ever richer while workers are told to accept poverty."
More strikes are planned on November 5, 7 and 9 when signalling workers across the railway network in England and Scotland will walk out.
The RMT is in dispute with the UK Government, which owns Network Rail, and train franchises about pay, job cuts and changes to terms and conditions.
It is also in a separate dispute with ScotRail, controlled by the Scottish Government, after the union rejected a five per cent increase and a £500 payment as "not enough" for its
