In an interview with talkSPORT, Sir Alex Ferguson's former coach Meulensteen warned Ten Hag he should not contemplate a move for the former Barcelona man. "It’s probably rumours and speculation, everybody keeps tight-lipped about it," he said.

"Playing in Spain and France is completely different. Also his best position is playing on the left wing and you’re gonna go with [Marcus] Rashford."
Rashford has enjoyed a brilliant season under Ten Hag after suffering a dip in confidence last year. The Englishman scored his 30th goal of the campaign during the 4-1 victory over Chelsea.
