Pregnant Gemma Atkinson explains why she's not finding out her baby's exact due date

Gemma Atkinson has revealed the reason why she's decided not to find out her unborn baby son's exact due date. The pregnant actress, who is expecting her second child with fiancé Gorka Marquez, realised that knowing when she should be giving birth would end up stressing her out. Instead, the 38 year old star, who shares daughter Mia, three, with her Strictly Come Dancing professional beau, opted to hear a general timeframe of when her baby is expected to be born instead.
That means that when the month arrives, she'll be able to relax more, and not feel anxious in the lead-up to the specific day. Gemma explained her decision to her followers on Instagram, giving her rough due date as around the end of June to the beginning of July. "I've been asked this a lot but I've specifically asked for a time frame instead of a due date for a few reasons…" she began.
"1. I think we become too obsessed with that one day. "2.
If they arrive before or after that day we start 'they are late or early panic / anxiety'. So with that in mind I've asked for a 'timeframe'." The star continued: "I've been told any time from the back few weeks in June to the front few weeks in July he could be coming. Happier me that way as I'm more chilled and accepting of he'll come when he's ready." The fitness buff, who recently responded to trolling over her continuing to workout while pregnant, also told one of her fans directly that another reason for deciding to remain in the dark on her due date is due to pressure from the outside world.
