Pop Idol star Gareth Gates surprised fans as he got up to sing in a Glasgow karaoke bar on Sunday night.
The 38-year-old rose to fame back in 2002 when he appeared on the show, finishing runner up to Will Young.
Earlier today, Gareth was performing at the Go Radio Christmas Sparkle Ladies launch and seems to have popped into The Horseshoe Bar on Drury Street later on in the evening.
In the video, the star can be seen performing Spirit in the Sky, a song cover which he brought out as a single in 2003. He then went on to sing Ed Sheeran's hit Perfect and had the crowd going wild. At the end of the song, Gareth said: "I hope you've had a great night, I'll see you soon! Lots of love!"
The bar posted on their Facebook page: "The one and only Gareth Gates! Karaoke off with a bang on this Sunday, any guesses on the singer? He popped in on his way by, must have heard about the best karaoke venue in the world...."
And fans flocked to the comments. One wrote: "can't believe we missed him," while another said: "Yay Gareth Gates, love you."
Another comment said: "Look at Gareth Gates, now this place would be great for a wee night out."
