Piers Morgan returned to morning telly and told viewers of his plans to make it a permanent one.
The former Good Morning Britain presenter was a guest on BBC’s Sunday Morning with Sophie Raworth and spoke about all the big stories from Prince Andrew’s sex assault trial to Novak Djokovic’s deportation scandal.
Piers told the BBC show: "I haven't been on breakfast television for nearly a year.
"It feels weird but nice. And my one question for you is... Am I allowed to have an opinion? Because that was the problem before."
Piers who departed ITV show around a year ago, said he is looking forward to becoming an irritant with his new show which will travel outside of the UK.
He told viewers he'd be back on breakfast TV daily, broadcasting the latest news to the UK, Australia and the US on talkTV from the spring.
Piers said opinion, debate and big interviews are on the agenda for the show and told the BBC: "I am launching a new global daily TV show for Rupert Murdoch’s news corporation in America, starting in the spring.
"It will air daily in the UK, daily in the US and in Australia daily as well so I will be a tri-continental irritant which is something I have been aspiring to be for quite some time.
"Its going to be opinion, debate, big interviews, so if you’ve missed me on morning TV, I’m sorry but I’ll be back very soon.
"If you haven’t missed me, I’m not sorry."
