The best of Britain's television and radio was celebrated on Wednesday afternoon at the star-studded TRIC Awards in central London.Thousands of votes were cast by members of the public and industry experts to crown the winners at the event's 52nd ceremony. The event was hosted by Capital's Roman Kemp and took place in partnership with OK!.
The National Television Awards wasn’t all cheers as audience members appeared to boo Piers Morgan when his nomination was announced on stage. Piers was in the running for the Best Presenter Award for his work with former employer ITV on Good Morning Britain, but hadn’t shown up for the ceremony.
