Cristiano Ronaldo's late free-kick inspired Al-Nassr's comeback as they beat Abha 2-1 in the Saudi Pro League on Saturday.
The former Manchester United star's team were looking to complete a double over their opponents this week following a 3-1 victory in the King Cup of Champions on Tuesday. However, their most recent clash was not as straightforward for Al-Nassr who were aiming to keep the pressure on league leaders Al-Ittihad.
Al-Nassr found themselves behind at the interval thanks to Abdulfattah Adam Ahmad Mohammed's goal midway through the first 45. Ronaldo, who was looking to end a three-game goalscoring drought, managed to bring his side level with a brilliant free-kick.

His strike from 30 yards went through the Abha wall and changed the complexion of the game. Abha were reduced to 10 men shortly after as Zakaria Sami Al Sudani was sent off for a second bookable offence.
Al-Nassr managed to complete the turnaround with just four minutes of normal time remaining. Following a VAR review, the hosts were awarded a penalty that was converted by Talisca to secure the three points.
Ronaldo's goal on Saturday was his ninth in the Pro League and following the game, Piers Morgan took to Twitter to praise the Portuguese star's equaliser. In a short tweet, he wrote: "GOATs never lose it."
The TalkTV presenter's interview with Ronaldo back in November led to the 38-year-old's exit from United. During the conversation, the forward criticised Erik ten Hag, the club and the Glazers in an astonishing attack.
