Strictly Come Dancing's launch show hit its lowest rating in 11 years. The former Good Morning Britain presenter regularly hits out at his BBC Breakfast rival but the news of Strictly's low ratings was the perfect opportunity for him to make a joke.
Taking to his Twitter, Piers retweeted the news that the dancing competition premiere only had seven million viewers compared to previous years. "Congrats @mrdanwalker," the 56-year-old tweeted along with a thumbs-up emoji.
