Phillip Schofield had the perfect comeback when asked who was on his 'bucket list' of contestants for Dancing On Ice, telling the pane Boris Johnson is his ideal pick.
The This Morning host joked to Metro.co.uk that the PM would be the perfect fit, as they try to get someone who is looking at 'different career options' amid calls for Boris to resign.
He said: "Well, I think you’ve all got to look for someone who’s looking at different career options or different things they can do, to fill in extra time.
"So maybe Boris?" the Dancing On Ice host laughed, and co-host Holly Willoughby weighed in further, joking: "We have great office parties."
"What’s more, we have all got just a little bit of cheese," Phil added, showing his backstage plate of snacks.
As well as This Morning, Phil has hosted Dancing On Ice alongside Holly Willoughby since 2006.
The pair even went live to the highly anticipated PMQs on Wednesday in the middle of This Morning.
After Boris spoke to the House of Commons, Holly said: ‘I also don’t think many people in the workplace are encouraged to bring their own booze.
“That might be a sticking point.
"He seems to heavily be pushing the ball away by saying let’s see what happens in the enquiry…"
Philip has been heavily criticising the Prime Minister this week as more and more reports of parties in Downing Street surface.
As This Morning returned to the studio for a discussion with journalist Camilla Tominey about the speech, Phillip noted that “the vultures are circling”, asking Camilla if Mr Johnson could survive.
