Phillip Schofield has slammed the police e-fit used in Coronation Street as the “worst I have ever seen in my life” on This Morning. On Tuesday, Phillip and Rochelle Humes watched an emotional clip from hit Channel 4 soap when Faye Windass confessed to officer Craig Tinker that she killed Ted, after Emma framed her with an e-fit.
However, the co-hosts along with soap expert, Sharon Jean Marshall, were baffled as to why Faye felt the pressure to confess when the e-fit looked nothing like her. Sharon was “not convinced” that Faye needed to confess and Phillip and Rochelle were left amused by the “worst” e-fit.

“I’m not convinced she needed that confession,” Sharon began, “because if we look, she’s actually confessing as she’s seen the e-fit issue of the girl that she saw in the flat and it’s not really Emma is it.” In a fit of giggles and shock, Phillip exclaimed “that could be the worst e-fit I have ever seen in my life” as the hosts admitted they did not understand how the alien-like image could look like Emma. The 59 year old continued: “It looks like someone from out of space. It’s from Star Trek.” Sharon joked: “Yeah, I think they could have gotten away with that.” As she added: “Nope, haven’t seen her no idea who that is, would have been an acceptable answer.” Rochelle concluded: “Well, that was not where I saw that going, that’s for sure.” It was the second time Phillip was left speechless on the hit ITV morning show, as Rochelle made a cheeky dig about his age.
