Phillip Schofield shares message about 'being kind' amid This Morning affair scandal

Former This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield has changed his Instagram bio to share a message about “kindness” following his affair scandal on Friday. Phillip, 61, who earlier today released a statement in response to claims of a toxic atmosphere on This Morning, has written the quote “Nothing beats kindness, it sits quietly beyond all things” in his Instagram bio.The quote is from the book The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by author Charlie Mackesy.
IMDB explains that the story: “Follows a boy, a mole, a fox and a horse, as they create an unexpected friendship and travel together in the boy's search for home.” The star's message about “being kind” follows after he admitted to an "on-off consensual relationship" with a younger male colleague which he said was "not wise but not illegal". In a statement made to MailOnline, Phillip said that he met the man in question "when he was a teenager", and wanted help to get onto television.
Phillip then said: "It was only after he started to work on the show that it became more than just a friendship.That relationship was unwise, but not illegal. It is now over." On Friday Phillip resigned from ITV completely just over a week after he left This Morning, meaning he will no longer host any ITV shows.
Following Phillip's full resignation, a number of past members of the This Morning family made claims about a toxic culture on the show. One of those to speak out is Dr Ranj when he released a damming statement slamming the "toxic" culture.
