Phillip Schofield has revealed how he broke the news to his wife Stephanie Lowe after he had an affair with a younger man on This Morning. In a new interview with The Sun, 61 year old Phillip said: “She got off a plane and I phoned her up and texted saying, ‘I need to talk to you’. She called back and I told her.
She was very, very angry." Phil said that his wife had believed him when she asked previously about the rumours which he denied at the time. The former presenter said: “She is very, very angry but we spoke today. And my daughters were unbelievable.
"They are without question, our greatest asset. I always say our, but from a father’s point of view, my greatest asset are my girls.” Phillip was spotted in public for the first time since his affair confession, with the broadcaster being pictured sitting in the back of a blacked-out car with his daughter Ruby. He was snapped sitting alongside his 27 year old daughter in the vehicle, which appeared to be being driven by his ITV driver, despite having been axed completely from the network.
