On Facebook, the cover photo was updated one day ago and now shows a family of four skipping in the sun, which replaced the previous cover photo of Phillip speaking to a woman outside of a We Buy Any Car stall.
A handful of people had started to criticise the brand for keeping the TV presenter as their cover photo, with one commenter quipping: "Did he push in front of this poor woman too? Outrageous!" The This Morning presenter and his co-star, Holly Willoughby, face increased scrutiny in the press and from the public after being accused of skipping the queue to see the Queen Lying-in-State ahead of her funeral earlier this week.The duo have since been targeted on social media, with a petition calling for them to be sacked reaching more than 70,000 signatures - but ITV have since clarified that they did not jump the line and were at Westminster Hall in a professional capacity. Photographs of the pair emerged on Friday, September 16, looking sombre as they waited in the press queue to film a segment for This Morning.
But the public reacted angrily after the photographs were compared to celebrities such as David Beckham, Susanna Reid, and Tilda Swinton - who had all queued with the public to pay their respects to the Queen in their free time. As the anger escalated, This Morning had to issue a statement where they clarified why the two presenters were there.
