Pete Davidson reportedly in "trauma therapy" following months of online harassment from Kim Kardashian 's ex-husband Kanye West.
The 28-year-old has reportedly decided to seek help after Kanye made several social media posts about him. The rapper even made a disturbing music video in which he appeared to bury Pete alive, writes The Mirror.
The latest outburst from Kanye saw him claim Pete was "dead" in a fake newspaper page shared on Instagram following his split from Kim Kardashian. The since-deleted post said: "Skete Davidson Dead at Age 28."
Below the headline, another part of the fake mock-up said: "Kid Cudi meant to play funeral but fearful of bottle throwers."
Pete is now said to have found the "attention and negativity" from Kanye a "trigger" and has been receiving therapy since April. "The attention and negativity coming from Kanye and his antics is a trigger for [Pete], and he's had to seek out help," a source close to the Saturday Night Live star told People.
They added Pete "has been in trauma therapy in large part [due to Kanye]." In spite of the situation, Pete is said to have 'no regrets' about his relationship with Kim. The insider said: "[Pete] has no regrets for dating Kim and wants it to be made very clear that she's been nothing but supportive of him."
He is reportedly trying to move forward and focus on his career. Pete's representatives have been contacted for comment. Reality star Kim is furious with Kanye for mocking her breakup and has reportedly called his recent post "appalling".
