‘Shrinking’ Star Matt Knudsen on Why He Wrote a ‘Feel Good’ Memoir About His Hollywood Experiences

Jenelle Riley Deputy Awards and Features Editor Matt Knudsen says his recent Hollywood memoir isn’t so much a “tell-all” as it is a “tell-some.” Far from revealing a seamy underside of the business, the actor and stand-up has taken the revolutionary stance of relaying stories about friendly celebrities and positive adventures in his new book, “Have I Seen You In Anything?: True Hollywood Stories from a Guy that Seems Familiar.” Most recently onscreen as a regular patient of Jason Segel’s therapist on the AppleTV+ comedy “Shrinking,” Knudsen has spent the last two decades as a working actor, sharing scenes with everyone from Michael Douglas to Alan Arkin. In his book, now available for purchase on Amazon, Knudsen details these encounters and more — including getting his union card thanks to Ben Stiller and winning $90,000 on a game show with help from Chuck Woolery.

Inside This Year’s Quiet, but Still Mighty, San Diego Comic-Con: Comic Book Sales Spike, Epic Activation Lines, Groundbreaking Panels

Comic-Con, thousands of fans, packed inside a cavernous ballroom, roared to life as the cast for one of the biggest shows to appear at this year’s annual fan convention stepped onto the stage. It was, in fact, one of the only times a cast of actors appeared at SDCC this year. And it wasn’t for a superhero movie or TV show or any massive franchise backed by a major studio. Instead, it was for “Critical Role,” the popular, long-running webseries that started as a group of voice actors getting together to play Dungeons & Dragons. “A question for the audience: anyone who’s doing cosplay, will you please stand up so we can see it?” asked star Liam O’Brien from the stage. Half the crowd — many of whom were dressed as characters from the show — leapt to their feet.

How much are last-minute 2023 San Diego Comic Con tickets?

San Diego’s Comic Con is going to look a little different.Due to the actors and writer’s ongoing strikes — the first time the two unions have struck at the same time since 1960 — many big names won’t be headlining panels this year.Still, Comic Con marches on at the San Diego Convention Center from July 19-23.And while the stars aren’t going be out in full force per usual, many exciting screenings for shows like “Adventure Time,” “Riverdale,” “Archer,” “The Walking Dead” and “What We Do In The Shadows” are still scheduled to take place.Plus, there will be a conversation with the filmmakers behind “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.”Let’s not forget Dan Harmon’s new show “Krapopolis” either.Or an appearance from legendary “Sin City” and “Daredevil” artist Frank Miller. What we’re most excited about though is the news set to come out from the Con about “Good Burger 2” starring Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell and Lil Rel Howery.Clearly, there is a lot to going on — even without the talent on hand to promote it.Best of all though, fans can grab last-minute tickets before it’s too late.At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on four-day passes was $483 before fees on Vivid Seats.Single-day passes start at $313 before fees on Vivid Seats.Still need a bit more information before committing?Keep reading. Here’s everything you need to know and more about the 2023 San Diego Comic Con.All prices listed above are subject to fluctuation.A complete breakdown of all single and multi-day San Diego Comic Con ticket prices can be found below.(Note: The New York Post confirmed all above prices at the publication time.

Todd Spangler NY Digital Editor The squeaky wheel gets the Twitter blue check-mark, it seems. After Twitter’s mass revocation Thursday of thousands of “legacy” verified blue check-marks, carrying out owner Elon Musk’s long-promised purge of the “corrupt” system, several high-profile accounts still had the iconic blue badges… even though they evidently aren’t paying for Twitter Blue (the subscription service whose perks now include a blue check-mark). Those included NBA superstar LeBron James, actor William Shatner and author Stephen King — each of whom had tweeted that they wouldn’t pay for Twitter Blue or had complained about Musk’s switch in the verification program.

Fox Orders ‘Stars on Mars’ Reality Show, With William Shatner Pitting Celebrities Against Each Other in a Space Simulation

Michael Schneider Variety Editor at Large Fox has ordered the reality series “Stars on Mars,” a new celebrity unscripted series featuring “Star Trek” star William Shatner in a host-like role. The series, set to air this summer, will follow stars as they are suited up to live in a colony set up to simulate what it might be like to be an astronaut on Mars. “Stars on Mars” premieres on Monday, June 5, at 8 p.m. on Fox. The show comes from Fremantle’s Eureka Productions. The idea centers on the celebrity contestants competing in the Mars-like surroundings until there is just one “celebronaut” left standing. Shatner will deliver tasks to the celebs as “Mission Control.” “The moment I heard the pitch for ‘Stars on Mars,’ I knew a show this bold, this big and this outlandish simply belonged on Fox,” said Fox unscripted programming president Allison Wallach in a statement. “Watching celebrities take giant leaps out of their comfort zone and step into the unexpected will no doubt be truly transformational and comical. Throughout, we will learn a lot about these stars, and when you factor in William Shatner leading the charge from Mission Control, we have the makings of a show that’s ready for blast off.”
