Prime Video has released the official trailer for the second season of Outer Range, the Josh Brolin starrer that follows a rancher who discovers an unfathomable phenomenon at the edge of Wyoming’s wilderness.

Two years after it premiered, one of our favorite shows of 2022, “The Outer Range” returns this summer (read our review). Something of an unusual but welcome mix of “Yellowstone” family drama and existential “X-Files” sci-fi, “Outer Range” star Josh Brolin as a rancher in Wyoming fighting for his land and his family, who discovers something unfathomable on its outskirts.

How does a girl perceive her mother? Lucy is facing that reality in the new film “Janet Planet.” Set in the early ‘90s, this coming-of-age film highlights how complicated the relationship can be. The A24 film hails from Annie  Baker, who previously wrote an episode of the Prime Video series “I Love Dick.”  The Playlist’s Gregory Ellwood noted the connection between Baker’s direction and Maria von Hausswolf’s cinematography, calling it “exquisite.” “Whether it’s a close-up of a dangling earring or Janet getting swept up in line dancing, the perspective is always intentional,” he wrote after its 2023 Telluride premiere.

Amazon Prime Video‘s acclaimed sci-fi Western series “Outer Range” is finally making its return. Today, the streaming service announced the series will debut on May 16 and shared some new first-look images from the show.

Silo looks set to become another hit for Apple TV+.Created by Graham Yost, the sci-fi series is set in a dystopian future where society exists inside a giant underground silo to shield them from the toxic atmosphere above.Rebecca Ferguson, who is also an executive producer on the series, plays engineer Juliette Nichols, who works on the generators at the lowest levels of the silo. Other cast members include Rashida Jones, David Oyelowo, Common, Tim Robbins and Harriet Walter.The show is based on the Wool series of novels by Hugh Howey, which consists of Wool, Shift and Dust.
