On Instagram, Beyoncé urged her followers to "remain aligned and focused" as people continue to march in the streets for the lives of George Floyd, Tony McDade, Breonna Taylor, and countless other Black victims of police brutality.

In the interview, Drew, 41, was asked if the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, and other black men and women killed by the police would trigger another round of Colin Kaepernick-inspired national anthem protests.
Following the murder of Tony McDade, a 38-year-old Black transgender man, by police in Tallahassee, Florida, eyewitnesses claim that police did not warn McDade before shooting.
At least three famous faces were among the thousands marching through Los Angeles on Tuesday (June 2.) Cara Delevingne, 27, marched with Machine Gun Kelly, 30, and Travis Barker, 44, by her side, and the Carnival Row star held a homemade sign that read “Silence Is Consent.” Clearly, she was calling out those who have yet to demand justice for George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, Ahmaud Arbery, or the countless other black men and women who have been killed by police in the United States.
The killings of George Floyd, Tony McDade, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor are the most recent in a long history of horrific systemic racism and police brutality against Black people in the United States. Black communities have been at the forefront of so many major American musical movements, including jazz, rock’n’roll, hip-hop, soul, and house.
