GP referrals for patients with cancer symptoms have returned to normal levels following a 50pc fall during the first wave of the coronavirus crisis in Salford.In April and May, referrals to cancer services were below 50pc of what they would usually be but since August, they have been at pre-pandemic levels.Salford's clinical commissioning group (CCG) governing body was told this week that since September, referrals have been slightly higher than normal.It comes as CCG chair, Tom Tasker, said
