Selome Hailu Brittany Snow has been cast in Starz‘s upcoming drama series “The Hunting Wives,” joining previously announced star Malin Åkerman. She will play Sophie O’Neill. Adapted from the May Cobb novel of the same name, “The Hunting Wives” follows Sophie, who moves with her family from the East Coast to deep East Texas.

What happens when life doesn’t go exactly as planned? “Lessons in Chemistry,” a new limited series for Apple TV+, explores this question as it follows Elizabeth Zott, a woman faced with something far from her dreams. Losing out on a chance to become a scientist sends her toward an unexpected career change; but hosting a cooking series allows Zott the opportunity to show ‘50s audiences that women are capable of so much more.

Apple TV+ has set a fall premiere date for limited drama series Lessons in Chemistry, starring and executive produced by Oscar winner Brie Larson. The series will debut with the first two episodes on Friday, October 13. New episodes will debut weekly on Fridays through November 24.

A24 might have found its cutest movie yet. The studio released a trailer for “Marcel the Shell with Shoes On” Tuesday, which is the first feature-length mockumentary about the tiny shell with a big personality. In the film, Marcel the Shell is on a mission to find his family.
