Mariah Carey reflected on 9/11 during her performance in New York City and opened up about her beloved 1993 single "Hero." The iconic pop singer paid tribute to the heroes at the 2022 Global Citizen Festival on Saturday. Mariah Carey released "Hero" in 1993. Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You," has become one of the biggest songs of the holiday season, but Carey wants to take things to the next level with her attempt to officially trademark the term "Queen of Christmas." Carey filed her trademark last March and the news was made public in July. According to the application that was filed with the U.S.Trademark Office, the trademarked term would cover a large range of items like lotions, fragrances, jewelry, mugs, clothes, food, ornaments and of course, music.  A lot of singers have come forward showing their resistance to the trademark claim.

Armie Hammer is an American actor whose career has fallen off the map due to sexual abuse allegations and struggles with drug addiction.  Beginning his career with just a few guest television appearances, Hammer worked his way up the Hollywood food chain over the last decade by earning more supporting roles in critically-acclaimed films. However, allegations of sexual misconduct and addiction forced the actor to enter a treatment facility for six months to deal with his issues.  Hammer is not the heir to the Arm and Hammer baking soda company.

Armie Hammer is reportedly "totally broke" following the sexual assault and cannibalism fantasy controversy he faced in 2021. It has been reported that Hammer resurfaced selling timeshares at a hotel in the Cayman Islands.The news, which has not been confirmed by Hammer himself, first made headlines after a flyer for Morritt’s Resort in Grand Cayman was shared to social media with a photo of Hammer.

Tom Cruise put his pilot's license to good use as he took "The Late Late Show" host James Corden on a few "terrifying" flights in the sky ahead of the "Top Gun: Maverick" release on Friday, May 27. "I'm very excited that James is doing this," Cruise admitted in a special segment where he prepped to fly Corden in both a vintage fighter plane and a modern war jet.

Tom Cruise joined James Corden on Tuesday’s episode of "The Late Late Show with James Corden" and cracked a joked regarding his departure. At the beginning of the show, Corden introduce the night’s guests, which included Cruise and his "Top Gun: Maverick" co-star, Monica Barbaro.  "James! It's such a privilege to be here, and I'm sorry about the news," Cruise said with a smile. "I'm sorry you got fired." James Corden is set to leave the "Late Late Show" next summer. He will have been at the CBS late-night show for over eight years once he departs in 2023. "It’s been it’s a really hard decision to leave because I’m so immensely proud of the show.

James Corden mocked Jada Pinkett Smith in a skit for "The Late Late Show" days after Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars. The skit began with Corden and other show members discussing how to cover the 94th Academy Awards. While most of the members wanted to focus on big moments - such as "CODA" winning best picture - some thought the focus should be on the joke about Pinkett Smith that led to Smith slapping Rock in the face.
