The Queen has embraced her cane and is coming round to the idea of using a wheelchair, suggests royal expert Jennie Bond. It was previously reported that the 96-year-old monarch was too proud to be seen in a wheelchair. But the former BBC royal correspondent says she expects to see Queen Elizabeth II take a leaf out of her mother’s book as she faces up to her mobility issues.
