Sandi Toksvig has opened up about quitting Channel 4's The Great British Bake Off in 2020.The 65-year-old was Noel Fielding's partner-in-crime after the beloved TV format moved from the BBC to its rival broadcaster three channels down. She would eventually be replaced by Little Britain's Matt Lucas as co-host, before This Morning's Alison Hammond took over the reins for the series just gone. She recently told Radio Times: "To be honest, I left Bake Off because I stopped having fun.

The famous 'test card' girl from the BBC, Carole Hersee, is now unrecognisable after avoiding the spotlight for 40 years. We all remember the iconic 'test card' featuring a young girl playing noughts and crosses with a puppet clown named Bubbles.This image, known as Test Card F, J, W and X, was often shown when there were no live programmes on-air. The girl in the photo was Carole Hersee, who was just 8 years old when the picture was taken.This image became one of the most recognised worldwide, making Carole the person with the longest screen time in British TV history.

As the final episode of the latest series of the Great Celebrity Bake Off kicked off on Sunday night, as well as raising money for the vital Stand Up To Cancer campaign, it also marked a solemn milestone for host Matt Lucas, as it was the last episode the star would be presenting.
