Ruth's former partner Jonathan Wignall was jailed in April 2021 after a nine-year campaign of harassment and stalking during their marriage.The ITV star's ex pleaded guilty to one count of coercive and controlling behaviour and stalking. Wignall, 55, set alerts for Ruth's TV appearances, accessed her phone with her fingerprint as she slept and tracker her car.
