Prince William and Kate Middleton made an appearance at Wimbledon on Tuesday to watch day nine of the iconic tournament. But as the royal couple watched on they became distracted by Kate's mum, Carole Middleton, who playfully stuck her tongue out at them. Her daughter, 40, and son-in-law, also 40, who were spectating from the Royal Box, were left in fits of giggles as they noticed the funny moment before they got stuck into the game.

She continued: “As we descended from the Jaguar, trying to look presentable after two hours in the freezing wind, Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo [Mapelli Mozzi] waved at us excitedly.”Collins recalled that Mozzi “nudged Princess Anne, who nudged Prince Charles and Camilla, and they all waved, smiled at us, and mouthed, ‘Well done!’ Very gratifying indeed.”Following the procession, she was filed into the green room behind the box and was able to take a beat.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte joined their parents Prince William and Princess Catherine (aka Kate Middleton) at Wimbledon over the weekend, and they sat somewhere that children are generally not allowed – the Royal Box.

As excited Princess Charlotte took her seat in the Royal Box in Wimbledon’s Centre Court for the first time on Sunday, she looked in her element. However while the little Princess was made very welcome along with brother Prince George, their presence came despite a longstanding Wimbledon rule.

Ariana Grande, Andrew Garfield, Tom Hiddleston and more stars may not have been on the Wimbledon courts, but they were still serving major looks at the tennis event.
