Offering a rare peek into his remarkable career, the book promises to provide readers with an intimate look at his journey to becoming one of the most celebrated figures in the comic book industry. In the early ’90s at Marvel Comics, he introduced the world to iconic characters such as Deadpool, Cable and X-Force, catapulting sales to unprecedented heights.

Whatever happened to actor-turned-filmmaker Olivia Wilde directing a “Spider-Man” spin-off, rumored to be a Jessica Drew “Spider-Woman” film? Wilde, whose filmmaking credits include “Booksmart” and “Don’t Worry Darling,” is attached to direct the feature film, which will be produced by Robbie’s company LuckyChap and her partners Tom Ackerley and Josie McNamara. Kinberg, a writer and producer of “X-Men” tentpoles, will also produce the film.

Marvel Studios has been quiet about their plans for Deadpool in Marvel Cinematic Universe. While Ryan Reynolds revealed he visited the studios' office last year, there hasn't been a formal announcement about the franchise's future under Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Perhaps it’s due to COVID-19 shutting down the entire industry, including the studio’s own productions, or maybe there’s another reason, but like it or not, Marvel Studios has stayed mum about details regarding a new “Deadpool” film or the future of the “X-Men” franchise since the studio gained control of the properties last year.

A third Deadpool film is not on the Marvel schedule for the next five years, according to the creator of the comic that inspired the franchise.
