Ray J is opening up a new chapter in his life. The rapper, 40, joined the hosts of TMZ Live, where he discussed his relocation to Miami from Los Angeles with his whole family, including wife Princess Love. “We’re in a good place right now,” Ray J shared with the hosts. “We’re in Miami; we’re gonna move down to Miami. And I don’t think we’re coming back to LA any time soon,” he revealed.

All seemed to be going well for Love and Hip Hop stars Princess Love, 36, and Ray J, 39, after the two reconciled in July following her divorce filing in May. Then Ray stunned fans by turning around and filing his own paperwork to divorce Princess on Sept. 14, 2020. He says that even though he still loves her and their children, 2-year-old daughter Melody and 8-month-old son Epik, it was just something he felt that he had to do.

“At this point you know you got to, you know, you got to listen to your heart,” said Ray J during a Q&A portion of the May 21 preview of his new single, “Stranded,” a song that references the accusations that he abandoned his then-pregnant wife Princess Love in Las Vegas in November 2019. Since then, Princess, 35, reunited with Ray J, 39, given birth to their son Epik, and filed for divorce.
