When it was announced that This Morning favourite Holly Willoughby and cricketing legend Freddie Flintoff would be jointly presenting a brand new sports reality series, set to air on ITV at prime-time, viewers couldn't wait to tune in. Although, it seems as though viewers were left less than impressed with what they saw on The Games however, as figures dipped lower and lower as each nightly episode aired earlier this month.

Ex Love Islander Wes Nelson and former Ex On the Beach star Chelcee Grimes reigned victorious as they won ITV game show The Games tonight.The five-day game show, hosted by This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby and ex-cricketer Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff, saw twelve celebrities go head to head in Olympic-style games. Celebrities such as former Love Islander Olivia Attwood, Coronation Street’s Ryan Thomas and Paddy McGuinness’ wife Christine McGuinness have all taken part in the games.

Mel B has shared that she tried to bring Victoria Beckham on board for a Spice Girls reunion tour while she was preparing to receive her MBE.  The singer, 46, shared the news with Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard during Good Morning Britain, as her daughter Phoenix Gulzar-Brown was by her side. During the chat, Phoenix, 23, also revealed that she has girl power 'running through my veins', as she discussed her participation in ITV's The Games.

Martin Lewis gave his opinion on new ITV series The Games on Wednesday night.Taking to Twitter, the money saving expert, 50, claimed that the show needed "more focus on events" and "less chat" in the studio. Martin also joked that if he was "ten years younger" then he would have wanted to have been a contestant on The Games.The TV star tweeted: "I am enjoying #TheGames- I love this type of thing (if I were 10 years younger and had more time I'd have wanted to be in it).

In an explosive preview clip released ahead of the instalment, it saw Phoenix, 23, accuse Chelcee, 30, of "shoving" and "pushing" her during the 100m hurdles on Monday's opening show. Phoenix was also left annoyed when she learnt that The Games wanted to re-check the results of the 50m breaststroke on Tuesday after a tight finish between her and Chelcee.

The Games have been taking place every night this week across ITV.The show follows a group of celebrities as they battle it out in a series of sporting challenges to see who comes out on top to be crowned the winner. Participating in this year’s challenge are a group of famous faces, including Phoenix Chi Gulzar-Brown. Phoenix, 23, is the eldest child of Spice Girl Mel B and her former husband dancer Jimmy Gulzar.
