One of the Queen's most loyal aides, nicknamed "Tall Paul" was with the late monarch in her final days before she passed away aged 96 on 8 September. Paul Whybrew, 63, worked with the royal household for over 40 years, and being personal page to the Queen meant that he shared a very close relationship with her.The 6ft 4in man is believed to have been nicknamed "Taul Paul" to distinguish between him and another of the Queen's footmen, Paul Burrell, who at 5ft 10in was much shorter.The Queen's closes aides, including Tall Paul, were with her in her final days and royal expert Victoria Ward told the Telegraph that they would help "with jigsaw puzzles, delivering her beloved Racing Post and simply keeping her company as she watched television."
