Paul Hollywood looked almost unrecognisable on Tuesday's first episode of The Great British Bake Off as he donned a brown mullet wig and beard for a hilarious show opener. Paul, 55, joined co-judge Prue Leith, 81, and presenters Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding to do a GBBO version of Billy Ray Cyrus' Achy Breaky Heart with the lyrics changed to baking puns.

The Great British Bake Off returns to our screens on Tuesday September 21 2021, with 12 new contestants competing for the title of Bake Off champion. Hosted by Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding and with judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith, series 12 of the show is set to be the best yet, with a police detective and retired nurse competing for the title.

The full line-up for The Great British Bake Off has finally been revealed by Channel 4 ahead of the show's return next Tuesday 21 September.
