A man has been arrested on suspicion of blackmail following an investigation by West Midlands Police into the alleged blackmail of This Morning presenter Alison Hammond. Alison reportedly shared her story with the West Midlands Police force, as reported by The Sun, and revealed she had been forced to endure the harrowing experience for eight months. Although the man cannot be identified for legal reasons, it's claimed Alison revealed he had threatened to "ruin" her career after she believed him to be her friend.

David Schwimmer has revealed he was inspired to sign up to The Great Celebrity Bake Off For Stand Up To Cancer after the disease touched his family. The actor, 56, explained that his grandmother as well as his ex-wife Zoe Buckman’s mother both passed away following brave battles with the disease, while his sister Ellie is a cancer survivor. In footage obtained by The Mirror ahead of Sunday’s episode, the Friends star said he signed up to the celeb special to “raise more awareness” about the disease and much-needed funds for cancer research.

Matt Lucas has revealed he is fulfilling his dream of writing a musical which he is adapting from a short novel he has written.  Speaking on The Deeney Talks podcast, the comedian, 48, acknowledged he is lucky that he is able to afford to pause other work projects in order to tick this off his bucket list.  He said: 'I've written a short novel and I'm adapting it into a musical.

Caroline Flack's family have announced a festival in her memory named Flackstock to celebrate the Love Island presenter's life. It has been revealed Louise Redknapp, Fleur East, and Natalie Imbruglia are three of the performers chosen to sing at the event dedicated to the late Love Island presenter. Flackstock will kick off at Englefield House in Berkshire, and Louise, 47, Fleur, 34, and Natalie, 47, will be joined by comedians Joel Dommett, 36, Keith Lemon, 48, and Noel Fielding, also 48, who are also performing.
