Yossman “Bohemian Rhapsody” star Lucy Boynton smoulders as 1950s nightclub owner Ruth Ellis in a new image from upcoming ITV drama “A Cruel Love: The Ruth Ellis Story.” Ellis was the last woman to be hanged in Britain in 1955 after she was convicted of shooting dead her lover, racing driver David Blakely. Boynton is joined by Toby Jones (“Tetris”), Laurie Davidson (“Cats”) and Mark Stanley (“Trigger Point”) in the four-part series, which promises to expose the British obsession with class, sex and death.

International Television Production (WBITVP) and ZDF Studios to celebrate 10 years and a now 10 territory roll-out of antique auction show “Cash or Trash.”  The property is produced by WBITVP and distributed internationally by ZDF Studios. Celebrations will take place as part of WBITVP’s Formats Showcase, held March 2 at BAFTA during this year’s London TV Screenings.  Havers (“Chariots of Fire,” “Finding Alice”) and Davant host the adaptations of “Cash or Trash,” on BBC One (“The Bidding Room”) and French public TV channel France 2 (“Affair Conclue”).

Hugh Hudson has died at the age of 86, his family have announced. He was best known for his Academy-Award winning film Chariots Of Fire and passes away in hospital after a short illness.

Finding Alice follows a bereaved wife's "honest, raw, blackly comic journey of grief, love and life" after her husband's unexpected death.The team behind ITV's hit family drama The Durrells have reunited for the series, which stars Keeley Hawes as Alice alongside Joanna Lumley and Nigel Havers as Alice's parents Sarah and Roger.
