EJ Panaligan editor The second season of “Your Honor,” which stars and is executive produced by Bryan Cranston, will premiere on Friday, December 9 on Showtime’s streaming platform, before airing on the network two days later. The series is currently in production on the ten-episode new season, with Robert and Michelle King, Liz Glotzer, Joey Hartstone, Rob Golenberg, Alon Aranya, Ninio, Mashiach, Ram Landes, Ron Eilon, Danna Stern and James Degus serving as executive producers. Hartstone also serves as the showrunner for season two. In addition to Cranston, the series cast includes Michael Stuhlbarg, Hope Davis and Isiah Whitlock Jr., with Rosie Perez, Margo Martindale and Amy Landecker slated to guest star. Lilli Kay, Keith Machekanyanga, Andrene Ward-Hammond, Jimi Stanton and Benjamin Flores Jr have been promoted to series regulars for the new season.

Pea soup vomit and the creepiest of creatures makes an appearance in the official trailer for the final season of Evil on Paramount+.

Evil” will premiere Thursday, May 23, on Paramount+, the streamer announced Monday. Production recently began in New York City on the previously announced four bonus episodes. Season 4 will include 14 episodes premiering weekly.

There’s some news at Paramount+…Evil is set to end with a shortened, upcoming fourth and final season.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter “Evil” will end with its upcoming Season 4 at Paramount+. The series was renewed for a fourth season back in June 2022, though it was not reported at the time that it would be the final season. New episodes of the series will debut in May, with Paramount+ also ordering four bonus episodes to supplement the season.

Paramount+‘s long-in-the-works crime drama series Happy Face is headed to production with Emmy-nominated and Tony-winning actor Annaleigh Ashford (Welcome to Chippendales, Impeachment: American Crime Story) set as the lead.

Starring Emmy Award winner Carrie Preston, “Elsbeth” is based on the popular character of Elsbeth Tascioni, the astute but unconventional attorney featured in “The Good Wife” and “The Good Fight.” “The series has been highly sought after in the French territory and this agreement will provide TF1 viewers exclusive access to the series in the market,” Paramount Global Content Distribution said.

BreAnna Bell CBS has ordered three shows, “Matlock,” “Elsbeth,” and “Poppa’s House” to series for the 2023-2024 broadcast season. The network made the announcement on Tuesday afternoon. Kathy Bates will star and executive produce the “Matlock” reboot which follows a now successful Madeline Matlock (Bates) as she rejoins the work force at a prestigious law firm where she uses her unassuming demeanor and wily tactics to win cases and expose corruption from within. The series also stars Skye P. Marshall as Olympia, Jason Ritter as Julian, David Del Rio as Billy, Leah Lewis as Sarah.

This completes the series regular cast for the pilot, from The Good Wife and The Good Fight EPs Robert and Michelle King, which centers on Patterson’s character of Elsbeth Tascioni that was introduced on The Good Wife and also appeared on spinoff The Good Fight.

While he was in town, he attended a fundraiser for the Dems, and was nearly killed when a man burst out of a bathroom stall at the event, shouting an anti-Jewish epithet and shooting Frank Landau, who the man had mistaken for Gold.

Kajol, one of India’s best-loved actors, stars in Disney+ Hotstar series “The Good Wife – Pyaar, Kanoon, Dhoka,” an adaptation of the CBS series of the same name. Disney unveiled a first look image for the show that is now in production. With the Indian title translating as ‘The Good Wife – Love, Law, Deception,’ Kajol plays a housewife who is forced to return to work as a lawyer after her husband’s public scandal puts him behind bars. The series is directed by Suparn Verma (Amazon Studios series “The Family Man”) and produced by Mumbai-based Banijay Asia. Kajol has credits that include romance “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,” melodrama “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham…,” romantic thriller “Fanaa,” drama “My Name Is Khan,” and hit the action comedy “Dilwale,” in 2015. She hails from the Mukherjee family which is studded with actors, directors and producers, and has been married to Ajay Devgn for more than twenty years.

I want to use the Emmy nominations as a starting point. In particular, the fact that HBO/HBO Max got 140 nominations and Netflix got 105. You’d have to add up the next seven platform totals to equal that 245 number. Is it good or bad to have two major players dominating the awards landscape?Erlij: I would say I think you have to look at the shows that are being nominated first and foremost.

Kristen is also in a will-they-or-won’t-they dynamic with David (Mike Colter), a fellow assessor and newly ordained Catholic priest. The show, created by Robert and Michelle King, begins its third season on Paramount+ June 12, having moved to the streamer from CBS after Season 1.

The Good Fight is coming to an end.

“The Good Fight,” a spinoff of “The Good Wife,” will conclude with its upcoming sixth season, Paramount+ announced Friday.“We’ve LOVED fighting ‘The Good Fight’ these last six seasons. To be able to tell stories about an upside-down world in real time has been a gift.

The upcoming sixth season of The Good Fight will be the last for the acclaimed series, which helped launch Paramount+ predecessor CBS All Access as its first original series. Production is currently underway in New York City on Season 6, which will premiere Sept. 8. This wraps a 13-season run for Robert and Michelle King, creators and executive producers of The Good Wife, which aired on CBS for seven seasons, and co-creators/executive producers of spinoff The Good Fight.
