Christopher Nolan’s daughter Flora has a cameo in his latest film “Oppenheimer”.

Mubi has snapped up rights across multiple territories on Made In England: The Films Of Powell And Pressburger, the Martin Scorsese-narrated doc set to debut this week at the Berlin Film Festival. 

Alex Ritman ‘Made in England: The Films of Powell and Pressburger,’ the documentary produced and narrated by Matin Scorsese, has been acquired by Mubi ahead of the film’s world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival. The arthouse streamer, distributor and production company has bought all rights for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Latin America, Turkey and India.

Christopher Nolan has confirmed that his daughter appears in Oppenheimer as part of a gruesome nuclear blast scene.The director is due to release his latest film later this week, which tells the story of theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer and his central role in the creation of the first nuclear weapons.One scene in the film involves a vision in which Oppenheimer (Cillian Murphy) sees a young woman, before she is eviscerated by a nuclear explosion, including having her face melted off.Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, Nolan revealed he decided to cast his daughter in the role, explaining: “We needed someone to do that small part of a somewhat experimental and spontaneous sequence.

NEW YORK -- Film Foundation, the nonprofit founded by Martin Scorsese dedicated to film preservation, is launching a virtual theater to stream classic films free of charge.The film organization announced Friday that the Film Foundation Restoration Screening Room will launch May 9 with the presentation of “I Know Where I'm Going!,” Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger's Scotland-set romance, recently restored by the Film Foundation and the British Film Institute's National Archive.The screening room will present films in a live-event manner, with movies playing at a specific time and accompanied by introductions and conversations. “I Know Where I’m Going!” will be available for a 24-hour window.“We’re looking forward to making these beautiful restorations available to a wide audience,” Scorsese, Film Foundation founder and chair, said in a statement.
