SPOILER ALERT: This article contains details of Your Honor Season 2.
In the second and final season of Showtime series Your Honor, Bryan Cranston reprises the role of disgraced judge Michael Desiato. At the end of Season 1, Desiato’s son was murdered by the Baxter crime family, and fresh out of prison himself, Desiato not only seeks to avenge his son’s death but to rediscover his own moral compass and find some kind of redemption. It’s another nuanced performance in a storied career that includes such roles as the inimitable Walter White in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, the titular character in Trumbo, Hal in Malcolm in the Middle and Stan in Little Miss Sunshine. Here, Cranston muses on his French country retirement plans, explains the glaring absence of karaoke in his life, and reveals his dreams of making a Broadway musical and why his desert island TV picks definitely won’t include Breaking Bad.
This week’s guest is Bryan Cranston. Perhaps best-known for his multiple Emmy-winning role of Walter White in AMC series Breaking Bad and his Oscar-nominated turn in the film Trumbo, Cranston has most recently played Judge Michael Desiato in Your Honor on Showtime.
Bryan Cranston, Michael Stuhlbarg, Hope Davis, Andrene Ward-Hammond and Isiah Whitlock Jr., originally slated for a one-season run unlike its predecessor, “Kvodo” (“His Honor”), which ran for two seasons (and 22 episodes) on Israeli television from 2017 to 2019.Plan A changed after “Your Honor” set Showtime viewership records upon its December 2020 premiere, triggering a no-brainer second season, though it was hard to fathom where the series could go after the finality of Eugene Jones (Benjamin Flores Jr.) — seeking vengeance against Carlo Baxter (Jimi Stanton) for killing his older brother, Kofi, in prison — missing his target and shooting Adam Desiato (Hunter Doohan), who died in his father Michael’s arms. That wrapped the Shakespearean storyline in poetic fashion, with Adam’s death karmic payback for accidentally killing Rocco Baxter, the son of New Orleans mobster Jimmy Baxter (Stuhlbarg) — setting into motion the resulting disastrous coverup orchestrated by Judge Michael Desiato (Cranston) … and its tragic conclusion.
Your Honor wrapped up its two-season run last night (March 19), with fans sharing praise for the finale. The series, which stars Bryan Cranston, follows New Orleans judge Michael Desiato as he’s forced to make hard choices when his son kills the son of a mob kingpin in a hit-and-run.Season two has followed the aftermath of his son Adam’s death, with Michael let out of prison to help bring down the mob.The events of the finale see Michael forced to testify at the trial of Eugene Jones, though refuses to lie, instead revealing the truth over Adam killing Rocco Baker and how he himself helped to cover it up.In the end, he goes back to prison, facing justice for his actions – though appears at peace with his choice to reveal the truth.Fans have shared praise for the episode, one tweeting: “I know a lot of people wasn’t rocking with this season of #YourHonor but the series finale was good”.“Your Honor is the best show on tv since it’s release in 2020 that season 2 finale was insane,” another added.

Disbarred, disgraced and all but destroyed, nothing can bring him back from the brink until a federal agent coerces him into a scheme to take down the Baxter family.“Revenge can’t return all he’s lost, but redemption offers a ray of hope.
