Netflix dropped the full trailer for Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, the anime series based on the graphic novels created by Bryan Lee O’Malley. The series premieres on the streamer starting November 17. Watch the preview in the video posted above.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter The Netflix anime series based on the “Scott Pilgrim” graphic novels is bringing back the entire main cast of the film “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World” to voice their characters in the show. The show, which was first reported as being in development at Netflix in January 2022, has officially been ordered to series. The returning cast members are: Michael Cera (Scott Pilgrim), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Ramona Flowers), Satya Bhabha (Matthew Patel), Kieran Culkin (Wallace Wells), Chris Evans (Lucas Lee), Anna Kendrick (Stacey Pilgrim), Brie Larson (Envy Adams), Alison Pill (Kim Pine), Aubrey Plaza (Julie Powers), Brandon Routh (Todd Ingram), Jason Schwartzman (Gideon Graves), Johnny Simmons (Young Neil), Mark Webber (Stephen Stills), Mae Whitman (Roxie), and Ellen Wong (Knives Chau). Additional cast members will be announced at a later date.

Scott Pilgrim will make his return to screen with Netflix and UCP teaming up for an anime series based on Bryan Lee O’Malley’s graphic novel series.

Edgar Wright announced today on his social media handles that his 2010 cult feature Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World will be getting a re-release on April 30 with a new Dolby Cinema cut.

The script is said to be “much more faithful” to the book than the 1987 film that starred Arnold Schwarzenegger, and a fresh adaptation rather than a remake.The Running Man, which was published under king’s pseudonym Richard Bachman, is set in a dystopian United States during the year 2025.

This won’t be a remake of the 1987 film that starred Arnold Schwarzenegger; the Baby Driver writer/director will co-write the story with Michael Bacall, and they will be much more faithful to King’s bestselling novel.  Bacall will write the script.

Beloved cult classic “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and on Wednesday night director Edgar Wright took joined a watch party hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
