Mdou Moctar has shared his explosive new single ‘Imouhar’ – the latest taste of his upcoming new album. Watch the video below.The Niger musician will release the full-length ‘Funeral For Justice’ on May 3 via Matador, and has previously released the album’s title track as its lead single.‘Imouhar’ has been written in tribute to the Tamasheq language, native to the Tuareg people to which Moctar belongs.

Nigerien rock group Mdou Moctar have shared details of their forthcoming album Funeral for Justice. Out on May 12 via Matador, the project is the sixth from the group, founded by the eponymous Tuareg rock guitarist. Today’s news comes with the release of the new album’s title track.

This Thursday, Matador will release a deluxe edition of Mdou Moctar's fifth studio album, May 2021's Afrique Victime, featuring nine bonus tracks. Today, Moctar is sharing "Nakanegh Dich,” the only completely new release on the record's extended edition.

Green Man has announced the first wave of acts to play its already sold-out 20th anniversary event. Among the headliners appearing at the popular bash in the Brecon Beacons are German electronic music legends Kraftwerk, acclaimed UK singer-songwriter Michael Kiwanuka, Baltimore pop duo Beach House and eclectic dance-rockers Metronomy.
