Selena Kuznikov Martin Scorsese is partnering with Fox Nation for an eight-part docudrama series, “Martin Scorsese Presents: The Saints.” Hosted, narrated and executive produced by Scorsese, the series will encompass eight one-hour episodes exploring the stories of eight figures on their journey to sainthood. The docudrama will premiere in two parts, with the first four episodes set to release on Nov.

Clarence soon sees an opening to make some bucks in the Messiah business but then he realizes that miracles can happen when you least expect them. The Book of Clarence, which also features RJ Cyler, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Omar Sy, David Oyelowo, Teyana Taylor, Anna Diop and Michael Ward, follows the director’s debut feature, The Harder They Fall, which spiced up the Western genre.

Foe (★★☆☆☆), director Garth Davis’ sterile adaptation of the 2018 sci-fi novel by Iain Reid. Davis and Reid co-wrote the film, which unfolds like a novel, allowing ample space to imagine the inner lives of its characters, though the filmmakers might have done more to realize the world beyond married couple Hen and Junior, and the tall, handsome stranger who shows up uninvited one day at their isolated Midwest farmhouse.The year is 2065, and, predictably, fresh water and habitable land are globally scarce.

It’s not every day that a filmmaker will rise up during an interview and recite Old Testament tales and sing out their favorite hymn. Well, hallelujah, brother Jeymes Samuel for spreading the gospel’s good news.

BreAnna Bell Charles Babalola (“The Outlaws”) has been cast as Shaka in the highly anticipated new series “King Shaka,” Showtime announced on Thursday. The epic drama tells the story of one man’s personal journey from a stigmatized childhood to becoming a legendary king.
